Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before making a reservation or using any services at Himgiri. These terms govern your relationship with us.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or making a reservation at Himgiri, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, guests, and others who access or use our services.

Reservations & Bookings

All reservations are subject to availability and are only confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit and a written confirmation from Himgiri. Rates quoted are per room per night and are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed. The person making the reservation must be at least 18 years of age and is responsible for the behaviour of all guests in the party.

Check-in & Check-out

Standard check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability, and may incur an additional charge. Guests are required to present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in. We reserve the right to refuse admission to guests who cannot provide valid identification.

Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful to other guests, staff, and the property. Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, or conduct that infringes on the comfort of other guests is not permitted. Himgiri reserves the right to ask guests to vacate the premises without refund if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

Property & Damage

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, furnishings, or equipment during their stay. The cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the guest's credit card or invoiced after departure. Personal belongings are the responsibility of the guest. Himgiri is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property during your stay.

Liability Limitations

Himgiri shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or stay at the property. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your reservation or stay shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that reservation. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the fitness of our services for any particular purpose.

Force Majeure

Himgiri shall not be held liable for failure to perform any obligation under these terms if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, we will endeavour to offer alternative dates or a credit for a future stay.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Almora, Uttarakhand. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
